WIWT: this is my poor excuse for an OOTD, but its better than nothing. Back to black, its been a while but I can deal with blackonblack once in a blue moon. I’ve been running around all day long but I felt like a million bucks today :)

Today was such a great day; though it may not always seem like it is, I make a conscious effort to say “today is an amazing day” and to appreciate it in the moment - because in reality it is & I don’t have anything to complain about.

My morning began with a fire alarm at 6:30AM (didn’t leave my bed, no one noticed); yoga first thing in the morning. Spent my break in between classes getting to know our new pledges during their library hours, symbolic logic class; work, left work to go raise money at Coldstone, out with brothers & sisters. Still running on minimum sleep but once again, I can’t complain because its all been worth it. Little nuances of my day keep me moving forward & I’m so thankful for the people in my life right now.

Had a wonderful yoga class yesterday morning, followed by classes & work. During work I received an interesting and surprising call from an old Friend, after work we had dinner for the first time in three years. Even though you spent an hour in traffic traveling here and back, even though we only had one hour to spend together I’m glad we had this opportunity. You’ve always been such a good friend to me and I promise we won’t have to wait another 3 years to meet up again.

Today’s weather upstate is absolutely sensational, literally my favorite weather. Felt like the first sign of fall <3 Its rather sunny, yet the air is so crisp and cool. !!!! So happy that its almost fall :) Also, I’m moving back to school labor day weekend! I’ll be spending the remainder of my time with the beautiful people and places that are here upstate with me <3
